As many of you may have seen, 23 time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps challenged a Great White Shark to a swimming race this summer. To be completely honest, I was a tad disappointed when I found out he would not be racing in a lane next to the shark, but it’s completely understandable. Phelps wore a monofin to make the race more fair.
If you missed the results, I got you. Phelps did lose to the Great White, but only by 2 seconds as they raced 100 meters. The shark finished at 36.1 seconds with Phelps not too far behind at 38.1 seconds.
